E3 Communities

As of Summer 2009, more than 7,000 individuals and organizations comprised the E3 network. E3 members have become involved through regional events, sector summits, and online through this and other websites.

If you’re already a member of one or more E3 communities, this site can help you connect with other E3 members to implement steps toward achieving E3 goals at the sector, regional, and state levels.

The E3 Communities include:

  • E3 People: The diverse individuals, who live, learn, work, and play in Washington State and want to help implement the E3 goal of Education for Sustainable Communities.
  • E3 Organizations: The businesses, tribes, agencies, schools, community-based organizations, non-profits, foundations, and other groups providing programs and resources to build a system of Education for Sustainable Communities.
  • E3 Sectors: The arenas in which sustainability learning is already taking place but needs to be expanded, coordinated, and better supported.
  • E3 Regions: The places where sustainability learning is already taking place but needs to be better integrated into communities and across sectors.
