When: 2nd Tuesday of each month, 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Where: Tacoma Nature Center (1919 S. Tyler St in Tacoma)

A PLACE to get new ideas, new practices, and a new community to practice with.

              Tuesday, September 11th - Peek Behind the Curtain: Informal and Formal Educator Info Sharing

Calling all educators!  Whether you teach at a public school, charter school, private school, or for a non-profit as a formal or informal educator we want you to join us!  We will have an opportunity to discuss how to connect environmental education to your teaching context while participating in engaging activities and networking with fellow educators.

  Participate in PLACE gatherings and earn free Washington State approved clock hours. 3 clock hours available for every two sessions attended.

Invite a friend and pass this along! No RSVP is necessary.

What: This is a community of practice for all learners and educators in the Puyallup River Watershed. Join us to try new strategies to teach environmental education, find partnership opportunities, and work with peers to expand our reach and impact as educators. This community of practice is a part of the Environmental Education Community of Interest.
