A Panel Discussion of Local and National Leaders Regarding the Intersection of Education, Environment, Economy and Equity
Moderated by:
Enrique Cerna
Executive Director of Production, KCTS 9
In King County, we all value the education of kids, a strong economy and a healthy environment. But we could have more. E3 Washington is working to link these three essential parts of our community—economy, environment and education—together. This program leverages our natural and human resources for projects that ensure success for our schools, businesses, communities and our futures.
Through regional summits attended by local
leaders in education, community programs and business, Washingtonians
all over the state are meeting to take advantage of local opportunities
that will strengthen the ability for business, community and schools to
work together into the future.
Already, hundreds of education, business, community and government leaders are attending meetings all over the state to:
• Support smart, long-term economic development; and
• Create healthier communities.
