E3 Washington is committed to protecting the privacy of our members.

The information we collect on this web site is designed to provide you with appropriate information related to the environmental and sustainability education work in Washington State and to process your memberships, donations, and event registrations.

When you join E3 Washington, you are added to the E3 Washington database, and are signed up for E3’s newsletter as well as E3 Washington bulletins and alerts. If you do not wish to receive one or more of these communications, you may opt out upon receiving the first issue of each. We will not subscribe you to lists without your permission. Joining E3 Washington does not automatically put you on the E3 Washington list serves—you must ask to be placed on the list. E3 Washington will not release your personal data to anyone else without your consent.

Information You Give Us

The E3 website includes the ability for people 18 and over to create social networking personal and organizational profiles. Some of the information request is needed to set up the profile and link users. Some information is optional. Additionally, in order to process contributions, we must ask you to provide some personal information. We will not disclose this information except when necessary to process your online transactions.

E3 Washington understands the concerns that our members may have in providing personal information online. You have our assurance that we will take all reasonable measures to protect your personal information. Credit Card Numbers

E3 Washington uses GiftTool-enabled services to process online financial transactions. Your credit card information, including the name on the credit card, billing address, and expiration date, are used only to process the transaction. All of this information is encrypted using 128-bit SSL encryption, industry standard secure technology. This encryption is designed to prevent theft or interception of the information.

Complete credit card numbers are NOT stored by E3 Washington or GiftTool. Only the financial institutions involved in a transaction retain that information.

Tracking Data on How You Use Our Site

Like many companies using the Internet, we do use tracking software to generate reports on how people are using our site. This information is used to continuously improve the content, performance, and ease-of-use of our site. We do not disclose, sell, trade, or rent any personally identifying information obtained in this way to outside parties.
