Olympic Peninsula: Lyre River Conservation Area Native Plant Exploration

Organization: North Olympic Land Trust and Washington Native Plant Society
Location: meet at 9AM at Fat Smitty’s or 9:30 at Sunny Farms (Sequim)

Those who came on the field trip in April to this North Olympic Land Trust property 20 miles west of Port Angeles added many new species to the plant list. On this trip, well into summer, we should add more. A gentle 1 mile trail leads through an upland forest down to the mouth of the Lyre River on the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Bring a lunch, hand lens, field guides and dress for the weather. Please sign up in case there is a change of plans.

Be sure to RSVP with Wendy McClure (360) 779-3820 wendymac3@embarqmail.com
