Stewardship for the Earth

When: 4th Tuesday of each month, 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Where: Tacoma Nature Center (1919 S. Tyler St in Tacoma)

Invite a friend and pass this along! No RSVP is necessary.

Participate in PLACE gatherings and earn free Washington State approved clock hours. 3 clock hours available for every two sessions attended.

What does environmental stewardship look like and mean to you? How can we involve students in environmental stewardship for real-world learning? Join us as we look at projects, philosophies and success stories within our community.

Who: You! Anyone interested in environmental learning.

What: A community of practice for learners and educators in the Puyallup River Watershed. We are a peer-facilitated group that:

  • shares resources,

  • tries new teaching strategies,

  • discusses problems of practice, and

  • dreams up new partnerships.

This community of practice is a part of the Puyallup Watershed Initiative
