What is a success story?

Success stories are one way to measure our collective achievements towards obtaining the E3 goals. These may be a Steering Committee formed to define standards or a collaboration underway born from conversations at an E3 Summit. An example of a success story is the approval by the Washington Professional Education Standards Board of the Environmental and Sustainability Education Specialty Area Endorsement (an optional qualification a practicing teacher can opt to earn). This was approved on May 21, 2009 and is the first initiative of its kind in the U.S. and worldwide. A success story does NOT have to be breaking news, but it might be.
