E3 Washington Happy Hour

You are invited by the Board of Directors of E3 Washington (Educators for Environment, Equity and the Economy) to an exciting E3 Happy Hour on June 3, 2017 at 3:45 pm. Join us at Antioch University's new campus in downtown Seattle.

We will celebrate the educators, students, schools, agencies, businesses, tribes and community based organizations that provide excellence in environmental and sustainability education. This event is co-sponsored by Beneficial State Bank and Antioch University.

Participants will be treated to a dynamic panel highlighting the powerful learning programs and achievements of environmental educators in Washington. We will share a meal of the region and we will lift a glass to the work of E3 Washington.

We would to highlight some of our recent work. We...

- Led the Educator to Educator (E2E) collective impacts grant program in four states including Washington State (thanks to a grant from EPA), reaching 25,000+ students;

- Redesigned our website;

- Supported Dr. Jean MacGregor, Evergreen State College, to complete a study of curriculum and facilities practices on 47 university campuses in conjunction with Curriculum for the Bio-Region;

- Partnered with tribes to support increased use of the state’s sovereignty curriculum

Environmental education in Washington is at a tipping point-- right along with the environment itself. The need for policy and educational leadership has never been greater, and the demand for interdisciplinary, field-based ESE has skyrocketed.

Help us continue to support environment and sustainability education. Order your ticket(s) today, and we'll see you on June 3!
