Amount: Approximately $10,000 is available for grants for projects to be completed in the 2020/2021 school year. BPA anticipates awarding up to six grants, ranging from $500 to $5,000 each.

Program Goals and Objectives:The Bonneville Power Administration’s Science and Energy Education Grants program was established to provide support to non-profit organizations, schools, government organizations and others working in the area of education for K-12 grade students.

The grants are available to programs that advance student awareness, understanding and interest in the issues and science involved in energy generation and transmission in the Pacific Northwest.
