Job Type: Temporary (44-week term of service)

Location: Various locations across Montana (out of state)

Salary: A living stipend of $22,528 that is divided equally over a 44-week term of service.

  • An AmeriCorps Education Award, this amount is based on the Pell grant in the year we are awarded our grant and will be updated in late Spring 2025. Members aged 55 and over may transfer the education award to a child, grandchild or foster child. The award for 2026-27 term is $7,395.

  • Guaranteed health benefits, as well as child care assistance and loan deferment if qualified

  • The opportunity to live, serve, and be part of the AmeriCorps team in Montana.

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks (FWP) AmeriCorps promotes healthy, active, and environmentally aware communities by enhancing park land, enriching educational opportunities, increasing volunteerism, and improving community outreach. The member positions provide opportunities to build connections within the Montana outdoor recreation and education communities and serve under The Big Sky.
