Outreach Coordinator - WA School Principals Education Foundation

Outdoor Schools WA, a program of the Washington School Principals’ Education Foundation, makes possible residential  outdoor education experiences for each and every child in Washington, so they may create relationships with others and  connections with the natural world through curiosity, exploration, and science. 

The main responsibilities of the OSWA Communications Coordinator will be: 

• Liaise with outdoor school providers and local communities to support inclusive and equitable outdoor school  programming. 

• Collaborate with the rest of the OSWA Team to develop projects that support outdoor school throughout the state,  e.g., professional development workshops, EDAI (equity, diversity, accessibility, and inclusion) initiatives, application  and reporting, high school leadership program development, etc.

Job Type: Full-time, in-office (hybrid considered)

Salary: $60,000 – 75,000 

Location: Olympia, WA

Riparian Stewardship Resource Specialist - King Conservation District

KCD’s Riparian Stewardship Resource Specialists serve as technical members of a team and are responsible for coordinating and delivering services for KCD’s Urban and Rural Riparian Stewardship Programs, which promote voluntary conservation activities along privately-owned freshwater shorelines to enhance water quality and wildlife habitat. These positions also facilitate enrollment and service delivery of the Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program (CREP), a joint federal and state funded program administered in partnership between the Farm Service Agency (FSA), the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), the Washington State Conservation Commission (WSCC), and conservation districts.

Seasonal Restoration Technician - King Conservation District

Location: Renton, WA

Agriculture Resource Planner - The Snohomish Conservation District

The Snohomish Conservation District (SCD) has an opening for a full time Agriculture Resource Planner position. Primary duties include providing technical assistance to agricultural operators through site visits, resource evaluations, and natural resource conservation management plans; providing outreach and education to the public about conservation planning and best management practices (BMPs); and implementing BMPs and conservation practices. A successful candidate will have knowledge of BMPs and natural resource management priorities relevant to small and large agricultural operations in the Puget Sound region, and the ability to engage with diverse community members to assess needs, design conservation plans, communicate recommendations, and implement practices.

Job Type: Full-time position (40 hrs/week)

Salary: $62,000 - $78,000 yearly salary with benefits
